• ✶ Worked for initial couple of months as a Java developer handling the tech stack which had Spring, Hibernate in place.
• ✶ SOA(Service Oriented Architecture) rewrite - We rewrote the whole code base in multiple services, decoupling the code base and the business entities and the database. The services interacted with each other via TCP api calls - a framework written by our then CTO. The programming language chosen was Python and the database we used was Postgres. We used Redis(pub/sub) for inter services notifications.
• → Handled the services which comprised of the core business features revolving around order processing, maintaining its different life cycles - customer care, packaging, shipping, delivery, returns etc.
• → Wrote the Digitization (manual, of the prescriptions) piece where the data was collected by our inhouse digitzers and then verified against the items in the actual order placed.
