Led the migration of a critical application of ICICI Bank, iMobile Pay, with over 30 million userbase, to Red Hat OpenShift, a Kubernetes-based container platform, ensuring enhanced scalability, reliability, and streamlined deployment workflows.
Key highlights and responsibilities:
1. Writing YAML files for an application with over 200 microservices - for deployment, service, route, RBAC, ConfigMaps, and HPA.
2. Migration of data from Oracle to Redis to enable real-time analytics, incorporating RDI with CDC (Change Data Capture) using the Debezium framework, while the Oracle database continued to handle live requests seamlessly.
3. Responsible for end-to-end testing and configuration of the Vulogx Collector on nodes deployed as a Daemon set for log collection and monitoring the application across all the environments.
4. Managing end-to-end operations of the application, including application repointing between data centers, resolving production issues, and ensuring high availability through proactive troubleshooting and monitoring.

Led the migration of iMobile application from MobileFirst Platform (MFP) to a non-MFP solution and adding additional layers in the front end of the existing setup to improve security and route the traffic efficiently.

1. Integration of Nginx API Gateway layer (hosted on GCP), making it a single-entry point for the application, and a Multifactor Authentication layer (hosted on Redhat-OpenShift on-premises, a container-based platform).
2. Evaluation and provisioning of infrastructure components like servers, storage, and network resources analyzing the previous version utilization data reports.
3. Middleware installations, performance optimization, load balancing, routing, monitoring, and SSL certificate configurations.
