Data lake centrally stores product suite (Jira, Confluence etc) data in a robust, secure and reliable manner. • Team's core focus areas are:
• Tooling to ingest CDC and historical data for all Atlassian products using internal common replication framework. Through Spark structured streaming over AWS kinesis, data is ingested in delta format in Databricks.
• Tooling to transform the data through multiple refinements and joins to make it business ready. Capabilities are built using dbt that also handles schema evolution.
• Tooling to define business rules on data and also reconciles with the source that ensures high data reliability. Using dbt test framework and signalFX monitoring, a quality and observability platform has been built from scratch.

• Lead a team of backend and data engineers to solve some of the complex use cases of Travel Marketing domain. Team has developed an inner source platform to ingest Google Ad and Trip Advisor spend data just through configuration. Enriched Ad spend data to generate insights which help downstream applications towards uniform and centralised capital allocation and bidding strategies.
• As a Manager, I completely own e2e engineering of the products and drives architecture, design, tech stack, code quality and monitoring aspects. I started with 5 members team and made it grow to 13 members team working in two scrum teams. Coached and grown engineers to next level and leadership role.

• Lead a team to conceptualise a new business function in travel domain. A route service was implemented from scratch using Clickstream and Booking data sources to unlock below business capabilities -
• Personalising the destination recommendation for travellers based upon their origin
• Curate the activities and things to do along a traveller route
• Traffic pattern guidance for supply partners to have a competitive edge
• Cross-sell/Up-sell different travel products
• Stream based pipelines were set up to consume different real time data and enrich them with geo, user and trip attributes through multiple Microservices.

• Tech lead in a team which has focused around creating solutions for competitive intelligence use cases in Vacation rental(VR) space. Team has developed native applications to ingest competitors VR data from third party, apply complex ML algorithms and multiple match techniques over competitors large datasets to generate various insights like identify properties which are dual listed or exclusive to one marketplace. Such solutions then consumed by CRM, Sales team to analyse, acquire/retain inventory in the platform and drive more revenues
• In this role, I have engineered multiple batch, stream and api based applications which produces critical market insights across VR marketplaces. Tech stack consist of Spark Sql, Spark Graph, Spark ML, Kakfa, Springboot, No Sql and Sql databases
• Major accomplishment in this role was to transform multiple legacy batch applications in VR Deduplication service across Marketplaces to a near real time stream solution with complete automation. I have redesigned the whole process from scratch to support multiple mode of ingestion, stream based processing and multiple apis to capture different metrics and track overall progress
