About

Hi ! This is Ojaswi Awasthi; I have been working for the past year at Paymentus(Paxcom India). Over the course of my Bachelors in Tech, I have always been attracted to the world of problem-solving and writing code. What initially started out with fear of coding turned into an exciting hobby and now into a profession. Starting with web development in HTML, CSS and JS, I delved deeper into fascinating frameworks like React, backend using NodeJS and databases such as MongoDB. I am also interested in data science and data visualizations and have built quite a few projects using Python and Tensorflow. Besides that, I have recently dabbled in AWS and am learning its frameworks and technologies as well. Lastly, my hobbies include painting, sketching, and reading fantasy-fiction and am also a Zonal Level IEO Rank holder. I am open to networking with bright minds who I can learn from and the bright minds that I can be of help to.

The entire visualization project was built on React and Redux, using ChartJS, routing and navigation libraries.
  • ● Worked on the Small Business Center Project that uses the MERN Stack for building the frontend UI and besides that, also uses the Amazon Extract for OCR Processing which enables us to add document text detection and analysis to our applications. • I was entrusted with the responsibility of contributing to the website creation for the project DoorStepDelhi. The website was built using HTML, CSS and Javascript and we had to add new features to the website like the payment gateway in the UI using SnipCart, sorting and searching on the basis of query, etc. We also had to document all our updates on PowerPoint and provide necessary changes to the video for the application. Overall, it was an enriching experience for me and really helped me build a basic understanding of the Web tech stack and Version Control.

  • Though short-lived, yet my experience at The TIED cell was probably one of the most significant segments of my time duration at my college. If I can probably update a LinkedIn account today and add my credentials on it , it is undoubtedly because of the experienced seniors and mentors that I made acquaintance with at the organization. My time as a Corporate Relations Member at TIEDC has been a remarkable experience and something that I will always look up to.
  • My role as a corporate relations member included activities such as preparing excel sheets and updating databases that contained the contact information of the members and leaders of the E-cells of other colleges. Also, expanding my circle of connections on LinkedIn was a key factor for being able to contact with intellectual people in various industries and colleges. My experience at the E-Cell was full of learning to the point of repletion.

Event Management Committee Member

Oct 2018Jul 2019 · 9 mos · Solan, Himachal Pradesh, India

  • It was an incredible feeling for me to have been nominated as a member of The Event Management Committee of The Youth Club of my college, let alone its activities and expanding into an entirely different domain from core engineering.I chose to be a part of this committee for my own self-confidence and making my presence felt at important college events and functions by showing the utmost sense of responsibility and showing up for work whenever my services were required.
  • The activities at the committee including arranging and organizing the music system for college fests, displaying banners, drop-downs and putting up flexes for all important events. The duties were always as expected, subjective.
  • The learning imparted by being a part of this organization has been worth looking up to. The inspiration derived by me has imbued me up with a deeper sense of responsibility than ever before. Also, I made acquaintance with some remarkable seniors of our college and took away quite a good deal of qualities from them, not to mention the joy and laughter that has come by just being in their company.
