• As part of my internship in Cybersecurity & Ethical Hacking at CODTECH IT SOLUTIONS, I had the opportunity to work on two significant projects focused on security tools development:
• 1. OOMAP - Port Scanner and Vulnerability Checker:
• ## Created a comprehensive port scanning and vulnerability checking utility to detect open ports on target servers.
• ## Integrated service banner retrieval and mock CVE database checks to identify known vulnerabilities.
• ## Incorporated features for detecting common misconfigurations in services and testing weak credentials to uncover potential security weaknesses.
• 2. PSC - Password Strength Checker:
• ## Developed a Python-based tool that evaluates password strength by assessing parameters such as length, complexity (upper/lower case, digits, special characters), uniqueness, and entropy.
• ## Provided feedback to users on improving weak passwords by offering detailed suggestions for stronger security measures.
• Throughout the internship, I worked under the mentorship of Neela Santhosh Kumar, gaining practical experience in vulnerability scanning, secure coding practices, and cybersecurity tools. This experience enhanced my understanding of network security, ethical hacking, and defensive security measures.

• Over the course of my internship, I had the opportunity to elevate my Python programming skills, becoming well-versed in key libraries critical to today's data science landscape. I honed my data interpretation and visualization abilities, which have significantly sharpened my decision-making in Data Analytics.
• Working with IBM Cloud provided invaluable hands-on experience in cloud computing, where I leveraged IBM's robust tools for scalable and efficient cloud management. Additionally, I explored the realms of Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Processing, gaining deep insights into machine learning and text analysis.
• One of the key takeaways was mastering algorithms like Linear Regression and Logistic Regression, which have further enhanced my analytical toolkit. This experience has been transformative, equipping me with the skills and knowledge to tackle complex challenges in data science and beyond.

As I begin contributing to the [GoogleKickStart_Solutions2022 repository on GitHub](https://github.com/OM-HASE/GoogleKickStart_Solutions2022), my focus will be on implementing new solutions, enhancing documentation, and performing code reviews and refactoring.
• By adding solutions for Google Kick Start 2022 problems in C and C++, I aim to assist users in effectively solving algorithmic challenges. Additionally, improving the documentation with detailed explanations for each solution will make it easier for new users to understand and contribute, thus boosting community engagement. Reviewing pull requests and refactoring existing code will ensure high code quality and facilitate easier future development and collaboration.
• Engaging in these activities will help me significantly contribute to the GoogleKickStart_Solutions2022 repository, enhance my technical abilities, and collaborate with a global community. Open source contribution not only improves my coding and problem-solving skills but also offers the opportunity to work with developers worldwide, enhance my professional portfolio, and contribute to projects that drive technological advancement and help others.
