I am Om Saran, a final-year undergraduate student pursuing a dual degree (B.Tech + M.Tech) in Computer Science Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bhubaneswar, where I currently hold a CGPA of 8.41. I had the opportunity to intern at the AI and HPC Research Centre, collaborating with AIIMS Bhubaneswar to develop a CNN-based image classification model for detecting and classifying cervical cancer from pap smear images. The model, which achieved 95% accuracy, was integrated into a user-friendly GUI application designed for doctors. I am proficient in programming languages like C++, Python, TypeScript, and JavaScript, and I have experience working with both frontend and backend technologies, including ReactJS, NextJS, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB. I enjoy solving coding challenges and have achieved high rankings on platforms like LeetCode and GeeksforGeeks. Beyond academics, I have honed my leadership and teamwork skills as the core head of the sports fest at IIT Bhubaneswar, and I’ve also enjoyed participating in chess and cricket tournaments.
