• Responsible for maintaining and developing Custom UDP protocol code on both server and client side for both PZConnect and Expresslane products
• Integration of Lua into C++ code on PZ Expresslane Servers
• Integrated Lua into the C++ code on the server code of the custom UDP protocol to allow for tweaks and changes on the fly without sacrificing performance of the protocol
• This allowed for quick updates and flexibility in the code to make small but powerful changes using Lua scripts which brought the time of deployment of changes from 4-6 hours to 10-15 mins.
• PZConnect: Improving network performance for Mobile Games
• Involved in the architectural design and implementation of the PZConnect protocol, a custom UDP protocol purpose built for a better online mobile gaming experience.
• Improved the out-of-orderness and efficiency of the sending protocol by analysing and improving the client side sending architecture. This improved the out-of-orderness from 30% to less than 1% for 4000 concurrent messages.
• Improved multithreaded performance and reliability of the PZConnect client side protocol by creating separate threads for the sending of the UDP packets and the network liveness check service.
• Researched the requirements for mobile games by creating a Corona based online ping-pong game for IOS and integrating an alpha stage PZConnect to test viability.

• Part of R&D team working on the Rendering Host and firmware of HMI device
• Worked on an XML parser module written in C++. The parser takes customized “svg style” xml files as initial input and produces a serialized output which is then rendered by a Renderer.
• The parser is cross-platform, robust and fast so that it can process faster than 60 frames per second on low powered devices.
• Implemented major functionalities of the parser.
• Created a test suite for the Parser module which was used for Continuous Integration and had more than 90% functional coverage and used as the de facto test before every module release.
