• After two startups, I decided to stretch my wings and pursue another passion: I flew jets for SkyWest (United Express and Delta Connection) and became the top flight instructor at the world’s largest flying club (West Valley Flying Club in Palo Alto). At SkyWest I flew the CRJ-200, a 50-seat regional jet, to locations throughout the United States and Canada. Being a "smaller" commercial jet, flying into airports without an ILS or RNAV approach, I actually got to hand fly it at times! At West Valley I served as the FAA liaison, directed the mountain flying training curriculum, organized the club's safety seminars, and instructed in over 20 different types of aircraft.
