• Kafka Monitoring Tool KWatch: Kafka was used as pipeline, in reference data where data passes through multiple stages before getting dupmed into database, for communication between different stages, so high availability, fault tolerance and faster fault recovery was necessary. So our task was to developed monitoring tool.
• Created distributed kafka consumers and used them for the monitoring tool, we used ZooKeeper to ensure fault tolerance and availability of consumers. Used H2 database for faster caching of Consumer offsets and DB2 for recovery in case database server goes down.
• UI was created using Angular to Monitor different statistics of Kafka Pipeline such as Health, Consumption Rate, Congestion into the pipeline. Utilized: Java Spring, Angular, Apache Kafka, DB2 and H2, ZooKeeper, HTML, CSS.
• Stock Trading Platform: Worked as team of 3 on to develop end-to-end platform for trading stocks and managing a Portfolio. Designed a Service-oriented Micro Service Architecture, used SOAP for inter-service communication and REST APIs were used to connect to UI built in Angular. Made sure that System is highly available and fault tolerant using ZooKeepr. Utilized : Java, Spring, Hibernate, SQL, Angular, Zookeeper, HTML, CSS.

• Interned at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management division. Build Search Engine with Integrated Chatbot for all the reports being generated inside the firm. It was built using Angular2 as Front-End and Java Spring MVC as Back-End for Rest Services support. ElasticSearch was used as central data repository. Python with Java Stanford-Core NLP libraries were used in Chat-Bot for Intent and Concept Extraction.
