Pradeep Rai Sr Adv — Associate Partner
As a Senior Advocate at the Supreme Court of India with over 27 years of experience, I have dedicated my career to upholding justice, advancing legal reforms, and strengthening the rule of law. I currently serve as Vice President of the Indian Society of International Law and Chairman of the India Legal Aid Centre and the India Legal Research Foundation, where my focus lies in enhancing access to justice, promoting legal awareness, and driving evidence-based legal research and policy innovation. I have had the honour of serving two terms as Vice President and one term as Senior Executive Member of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA). During my tenure, I was instrumental in initiatives that directly benefited the legal community including the allotment of land for lawyers, the opening of a Railway Reservation Counter within the Supreme Court, and the implementation of discounted schemes for advocates’ welfare. I also founded and led several SCBA committees, including the Health, Grievance, Cultural, and Training & Professional Excellence Committees, all aimed at improving the professional ecosystem for lawyers. My guiding belief is that a just society rests on an accessible, transparent, and empathetic legal system and I remain committed to contributing toward that vision every day.
