• Search Based Keyword Tool: Won the Founders’ Award for this project. Part of core team that designed, developed and launched a keyword suggestion system for ads landing pages. A very high impact project, that helped scale Google’s advertising business tremendously. Responsible for multiple sub-systems like keyword extraction and ads data extraction.
• Page Speed Service: Tech Lead of a team of 10. Designed, developed and launched a content distribution + content rewriting system for external websites to speed up their loading times. Loading was improved by upto 50% using our system. Collaborated with teams across Bangalore, Boston and Seattle to develop and launch this project.
• Web Search: Worked on search quality experiments using knowledge graph data to improve search results for certain class of queries.
• Load Balancer (Google Inc, Mountain View): Worked on Google’s content distribution system that handled internal and external (DNS-based) load balancing between server clusters. Part of core team that redesigned the load balancing architecture to scale up from a few services to thousands of services.
