• Buildbot is a unit test framework used by numerous companies and open source organizations around the world.
• It runs unit tests on new builds and generates large amounts of data. There was, however, no easy way to access this wealth of data.
• Created a non-intrusive data collection, storage and visualization framework for unit test metrics generated by Buildbot during the running of unit tests.
• The framework uses a system of hooks within the Buildbot codebase to issue asynchronous function calls to transfer data to an external data store such as InfluxDB.
• This data can then be accessed easily using the InfluxDB dashboard.
• Built using fully asynchronous code using Twisted for Python.

• Worked to implement a context based help system in the Sugar Desktop Environment.
• Sugarlabs is a non-profit which works to provide laptops to children, especially in under-developed parts of the world under the One Laptop Per Child program.
• The laptops run on the Sugar Desktop Environment which runs on top of Linux. The interface is designed for children.
• Implemented a context based help system that could be triggered from a hotkey. This system launches a locally run Discourse instance in the context appropriate category.
• The project was implemented in a Python based GUI on built on top of GTK+.

• Implemented a generic vector calculus module in SymPy computer algebra system.
• SymPy is a free and open source CAS written in pure Python which can perform a wide variety of mathematics tasks symbolically including solving system of equations, differential equations, complex algebra, matrix algebra, etc.
• Implemented a generic vector calculus module where a user could define any orthogonal coordinate system of their choice by providing the relationship to the rectangular coordinate system.
