• I was a Senior Software Engineer in the Kutumb team building microservices for the next generation of community-oriented social media in India.
• Worked on social media feed algorithms and recommendation systems. Primary tech was Javascript, MySQL, Redis, Cassandra, SNS, SQS, Docker, and Kubernetes. I significantly improved the code quality and wrote reliable APIs that were used by millions of users.
• Worked on every aspect of the Kutumb backend services along with the internal content management system used by the Dev, Support and Ops team.

• Working on Tokoko's backend services. Tokoko is a product similar to Shopify and it allows sellers to set up their digital stores and upload product data and manage inventory. Along with a few other engineers I own the backend infra and services for Tokoko.

• Loyalty Service:
• It’s a multi-tenant, distributed microservice. Tenants can use this service to send events to award loyalty points or cashback rewards to merchants. Business can use this service to schedule multiple loyalty campaigns with custom rules.
• Designed and built the loyalty service from scratch, and owned the implementation of the campaign management system that reduced manual campaign reward efforts by the business team.
• This service was used by multiple tenants and saw 100k+ daily Kafka message ingestion and processing with a minimal error rate and downtime.
• Tech Stack – Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Kafka, Redis, PostgreSQL, AWS ECS, Docker.
• BukuWarung Android app:
• Bukuwarung app is a payment and bookkeeping app used by 7M+ Indonesian merchants.
• Implemented and owned end-to-end development of POS feature for merchants in the App which
• was used by 100k+ merchants to record their POS transactions.
• Developed Continuous Delivery pipeline for android builds using firebase app distribution and Github
• actions for dev, staging, and prod which subsequently reduced dependency on developers to give builds to QAs and PMs and saved 100+ hours for engineers per month. This was later used across multiple teams.
