• Created data pipeline and UDFs for processing of large log files that obtained event logs from 2.6 million Comcast Xfinity boxes. Worked on setting up data pipelines using AWS EMR and dashboards using Splunk. Unstructured logs were parsed using syslog parsers and were indexed to Splunk nodes. Worked on Wifi health telemetry.
• In continuation to my RDKB project with Comcast, it was 2 yrs since the software stack was open-sourced and this required me to support the community by managing contributions. I was required to port the functionality from proprietary boards to open sourced platforms like RaspberryPi 3. This included communication with cross geography teams and multiple stake holder. I automated my work by using Python scripts to help the process on upstreaming and down streaming of the contributions made by the community to the proprietary stack. I also got introduced to Selenium Library for automated testing and reporting.

• As a System Engineer for the Media unit of the ENGNE (engineering network and embedded) for the the Infosys Engineering division, my role was to work closely with Comcast Xfinity home gateway devices. The project required me to maintain a high performance software stack for the US region. RDK Broadband stack uses wired and wireless technology to provide services. My role revoled around feature development and testing for the stack. The stack is written in embedded C and also requires understanding of Linux kernel and Yocto build system.
• My major inputs regarding the development:
• 1. To create a packaging system to deploy applications to run on demand (ROD) basis. I used the open-sourced OPKG utility to enable dynamic installation of .ipk files. This enabled reduction in memory footprint of the embedded devices and the applications were deployed on runtime rather than packaging on the image itself.
• 2. Create an automated memory diagnostic tool to study the VMRSS, RAM, ROM usages of multiple processes running on the system. This enables proper profiling of the memory consumption of all the processes before the code being shipped to the production environment.

• Completed the generic and specialised training from the prestigious training facility at Infosys Mysore. Mastered OOP concepts with hands on experience in Python language. Gained experience writing SQL queries on Oracle DB. Specialised in networking stream by gaining project experience in OSI layers, wireless communication, routing protocols etc.
• Finished the complete internship as a High Performer with an aggregate of 85%.
• Also, completed final year project in Routing Configuration and Automation.

• In the summer internship I developed a Java application for Pathology Management Systems. The application was built using JFrames and had Oracle database, using JDBC-ODBC bridge as driver for enabling connection to the back end. The front end was built using Java Swing framework.
