Over the past 2 years, I’ve been working primarily as an Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Developer, where I’ve designed and implemented various integration solutions across Oracle ERP and HCM modules.
My core responsibility has been to build App-Driven, Schedule-Based, and File-Based integrations using OIC to automate business processes like invoice processing, employee data sync, purchase order transmission, and more. I’ve worked extensively with a variety of OIC adapters such as REST, SOAP, FTP, File, ERP Cloud, and HCM Cloud adapters, depending on the use case.
For example, I developed integrations that pulled invoice data from third-party vendor portals using REST APIs, validated and transformed that data using OIC’s visual mapper and ATP DB, and then submitted it into Oracle ERP Cloud via the ERP Adapter. I also built integrations that triggered based on schedule—for instance, syncing employee master data from internal systems to Oracle HCM using the HCM Cloud Adapter and PL/SQL logic for validation.
Alongside integration flows, I’ve configured secure connections, handled error handling and fault policies, and monitored flow performance using OIC’s built-in dashboards. I’ve also used BI Publisher for generating reports and PL/SQL procedures for intermediate data processing when required.
In addition to backend integrations, I’ve also worked with Oracle Visual Builder (VBCS) to create user-friendly applications that interact with OIC APIs—for example, dashboards for vendor status tracking or employee onboarding.
