About

I’m a technology leader with 20 years of experience at the intersection of Software Engineering, Cybersecurity Strategy, and Secure Architecture. Recently i quit my corporate career to fuel my passion for early stage cyber design challenges to cofound Securacy.ai. I’m passionate about building resilient, scalable systems where security is embedded from the very first design choice—not layered on as an afterthought. Throughout my career, I’ve written code across multiple languages(C++, C, debugged fortran(yikes), Java, python, CUDA,js,angular), navigated complex system integrations, and led critical cybersecurity initiatives. A strong advocate of secure-by-design principles, automation and reducing manual effort and enabling teams to move faster and more securely. To me, security isn’t just a box to check—it’s a mindset. Whether I’m shaping strategy or diving into architectural discussions, I bring a security-first perspective that builds trust, boosts resilience, and accelerates delivery. I don’t just promote secure-by-design—I practice it every day. Outside of work, I have a lifelong passion for Tennis and Carnatic music. I’ve been singing since I was three and swinging a racket since I was eight—both have been steady companions through the years. Family life adds its own rhythm and excitement. As a daughter, sister, wife, and mother of two energetic boys, there’s never a dull moment

  • I've been tasked with helping my center with cyber security of products going on the cloud. I find this area of cyber security very fascinating not only for the technical aspect (kali linux and all the great open source tools in the market)but also pay close attention to compliance, privacy and also be ethical while collecting data. As developers we need to be more vigilant of such things. We cannot shun it and say we do only deal with code. One is forced to make hard decisions right from the start as data becomes integral to all what we do.

  • I worked as a software engineer at the depth imaging department building plugins to Petrel. All of the project used C#.NET and C++/CLI to communicate with imaging algorithms in C++.
  • 1)Developed common component used in visualization of prestack seismic data. This was done using open inventor.NET on Petrel
  • 2)Main developer on "velocity model building" component, to build a shared earth model. This is one of the first steps in inversion process of depth imaging.
  • 3)Involved in design and implementation of ray based imaging project. I worked on the back end and visualisation,
  • 4)Involved in investigating feasibility of implementation of a hybrid CPU – GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) approach for Rapid Beam Imaging (RBI), a lightweight kernel for Rapid Beam Migration. The project implementation was done using the CUDA (Compute Unified Device Architecture) framework from NVIDIA
  • 5) Helped setup unit tests using the NUnit framework to improve quality of software produced after a defect analysis study on all bugs produced on a product. The code coverage for project was setup using NCover.
