• Led a team of 6 to analyze LSI Corporation’s Patent portfolio related to CAD tools and prepared detailed claim charts to materialize licensing opportunities.
• Analyzed more than 4000 patents of Nortel Networks Corp. and rated them based on 3GPP standards to identify their worth for Sony Corporation during recent acquisition of Nortel’s patent portfolio for $4.5 billion.
• Conducted a joint study with Article One Partners to determine companies with strongest LTE patent portfolio. Determined appropriate weights for novelty, grant status, and overlap with 3GPP standard.
• Prepared landscape reports and white-space analysis reports for various technologies such as E-book readers, 3D TVs, Smartphones, etc. The analysis includes taxonomy preparation, categorization, chart preparation and trend analysis.
• Supervised patent invalidations and prior-art analyses in image processing, consumer electronics, wireless communication, content distribution and various other technology domains.
