Part of the Compute team and working on enabling Autonomous Host Repair capabilities in data centers worldwide. The goal is to make the data centers more efficient by having less than 1% of the machine in need for repair state.
Each machine in the data center has multiple hardware and software components. Our software has the following responsibilities:
Monitor the machines to figure out which machines needs repair.
Diagnose the faulty component and create tickets to get it replaced.
Make sure that OCI cloud customer is having a seamless experience while they move out of faulty machine.
Once the repairs are done, running verifications on the host to make sure that the repair was successful.
Collect, analyze and find patterns in the historical faulty component data and push for changes in hardware vendors and data center conditions.
