My life's passion is to harness the power of data to enable us to make better decisions, to spread delight and solve real and impactful problems, thereby creating value. I believe in data because it represents the purest form of truth that I'm aware of. Currently, I am employing the latest AI/ML technologies at AirAsia SuperApp by optimizing airline flight ticket and ancillary prices, personalizing user journeys across the superapp, parsing customer feedback to identify key priorities and providing strategic business insights and recommendations. I'm also working on implementing MLOps best practices across all projects to ensure sustained value generation. In parallel, I am pursuing a PhD Program in Machine Learning at BITS Pilani. My thesis is at the conjunction of generative models for computer vision and resource-constrained mobile devices. I was awarded the Great Learning Data Science Award for cutting-edge work done to teach machines to better recognize fashion garments. Occasionally, I take part in Machine Learning competitions on Kaggle. Recently, I was ranked 190 globally. AI/ML is facing a huge talent crunch. In my spare time, I take up vocational activities to inspire and educate others to enter this field. Previously, I was a founding team member and Head of Analytics, Planning and Data Science at AJIOBusiness, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries Pvt Ltd, which is a Fortune 100 company. Before that, I was an early employee at Snapdeal.com, India's 3rd largest online marketplace, wherein I set up and led pricing and merchandizing analytics. I've also launched and successfully ran my own startup DealHaze.com performing daily deals aggregation.
