• Headed and coded Deals service implementation from scratch which bus operators can use to provide deals to Paytm users only. The service has scaled to consume millions of events per day and attaches deals through an event-based model using Kafka producer-consumer.
• Deals service works with pre-computed data so that the search response time is not hampered and the pre-computed data get updated through events. Used GoLang, Cassandra, Redis, and Kafka for building deals service.
• Worked on the event-based system to maintain fresh static inventory and minimize the impact of stale inventory with 95% accuracy using Java streams, Kafka, and Cassandra.
• Responsible for writing event-based inventory updation across bus funnel i.e. Search, seat layout and block to update stale data in Elastic search for RTCs.
• Worked on optimizing search backend service written in GoLang and uses Cassandra to fetch the results.
• Responsible for the implementation of static inventory building for bus providers for the IMS team. IMS is the main source of inventory for the Paytm bus.
