Hi, I am Saket Mayank, an Android Developer by profession. I have more than 6 years of Experience in Building Android Apps both for consumer and enterprise market. Currently I work at CRED and building awesome experience for the top 1%. . Previously worked as an Android Engineer at Gojek Tech which is the South East Asia tech Giant. I am a part of GoFood stream which is one of the biggest product in GoJek App. I own the Search & Recommendation part of Go-Food app. Search & Recomendation might sound naive but it is the backbone of GoFood as its the entry point to your favourite restaurant and dishes. Will tell you about the whole flow later for sure. Prior to this, I worked as an Android Developer at STEP from the Hindu Groups. It is an EdTech startup and my first company after passing out from college. STEP changed my life, at STEP I got the opportunity to develop their Android app from Scratch solely. Apart from this I also got exposure to Backend technology and majorly to drive features and specs of my own which helped me understand the full SDLC process. Since college I always wanted to work for myself rather build a product of my own. So with that mindset I along with my few seniors founded my own Bootstrapped Company - Flarow and scaled it from scratch to 3000 homes across Chennai & Hyderbad. We were named as Top 25 Startups by Headstart Network in 2017. We were also nominated in Economic Times Power of Ideas and Smart Fifty by IIM Calcutta. I have always had a keen interest in Technology and mostly mobile technology. The reason being in todays world most of the things are in your palm and you can drive almost everything from it. My current areas of Interest are Android Development, Backend Development, Entrepreneurship, Amazon Web Services. As a Cofounder, I was hands-on on most of the aspect of the company right from Idea, MVP, Product Development, Online & Offline Marketing, Sales, Customer Onboarding, Raising Funds and support.
As a Developer, I developed this app from scratch and it has 5000+ users.
Used PHP Laravel as backend, components of this app is based mainly on API calls,JSON parsing.
This app is mainly about end to end rental solution for Tenant and Owners. Features like generating Tickets, uploading Documents ,property Creation, tagging Tenant and Invite,Push notification using FCM and Php ,Discusion Forum etc, along with Android Material Design Concepts makes it user friendly and responsive and these features had 80% of engagement.
Version Control using GIT and deployment on PlayStore and AWS Elastic beanstalk which boosted my overall understanding of 100% flow.
Maintaining production and staging environment which resolved 80% bugs before the production release
