Saksham Nayyar — Software Engineer

Hi!👋 My name is Saksham Nayyar. 🎓 I just wrapped up my Master’s in Computer Science at George Mason University and am currently on the lookout for full-time opportunities in Android or backend development. If you're building cool stuff, I’d love to be part of it. Before grad school, I spent 3+ years as a Software Engineer at Samsung R&D, where I worked on the Samsung DeX platform. I led Kotlin migrations, redesigned legacy modules using MVVM and Clean Architecture, and shipped features that improved performance and reached millions. The experience taught me how to write clean, scalable code and collaborate across global teams. 📱 My love for Android started during my internship at Samsung, where I built a launcher app from scratch. Having full ownership from design to delivery hooked me for life. I enjoy solving complex problems no matter where they live in the stack. Outside of work, I love working on side projects, breaking down system design challenges, and chatting with other engineers about ideas, tools, or memes.
