• Reporting to Head of India R&D center, I was leading all quality transformation initiatives across several research engineering teams. Ricoh Innovations Pvt Ltd, (RIPL) was a fully owned subsidiary of Ricoh Innovations corporation, USA. We focused on Research and Software Development in cutting edge technologies like Computer Vision, AI and ML working on various interesting products across domains like Tele-health, Edge Computing, 360 visualization of spaces, IoT applications and Epileptic Diagnosis software.
• I was leading overall Quality Engineering, Program/Release management and worked closely with all teams as horizontal. Drove test efficiency improvement initiatives and nonfunctional tests across these teams
• Another important initiative which I championed was Automated testing. Started off with rigorous diligence on testcases, development of automation framework and writing code to automate these test cases. Focus was both on Front end UI (Web, Android and IOS apps) and Backed APIs. Post automation we setup CI pipeline via Jenkins.
• Exposed to Android app development and iOS app development and automating test cases using native android and iOS framework. This was part of Ricoh Tours application development done under collaboration with Ricoh USA.

• At Intuit, I was part of Agent Tools Engineering team under Awesome Agent Experience program which was created to re-imagine and drastically improve customer care and ops agents’ experience, in-turn resulting in customer delight. These agents supported Intuit's flagship product "QuickBooks" which is an accounting software, geared mainly towards small and medium-sized businesses and offer on-premises accounting applications as well as cloud-based versions that accept business payments, manage and pay bills, and payroll functions. This program involved deprecating several old and home-grown tools and replacing them with new, simplified, and centralized tool with real time movement of data from product DB to agent facing application (SFDC). I worked with several scrum teams developing new web app and maintaining existing tools which were getting depreciated in parts. I was also part of engineering team which was working on a data streaming solution called "Kabini". This Kafka based pipeline was create to move changed data from product DB to SFDC in real time using technologies like Spark, Datomic, Cassandra and Splunk.

• Built and scaled several engineering teams working on various products which were driver/partner facing (Driver App for Cab and Auto, Device APIs, Auto Driver back-end, IMS - Driver on-boarding, management tool, IMS APIs). Worked on 1.0 version of android app for OLA operators which scaled to 50000 users in a span of 50 days. Managed multiple teams directly along with 2 engineering managers. Hired and on boarded several engineers and kick-started automation, non-functional testing and white box testing in couple of teams. Worked closely with Product Managers and Technical Project Managers in aligning releases, managing cross team dependencies and troubleshooting and escalating production issues.
• Worked on customization and launch of Ola Bike app. This app was released to production within a day which enabled Ola to compete with Uber and launch Bike taxi service to establish market presence. Received CEO award for various accomplishments in improving product quality and making fast releases

• I joined Knowlarity with dual charter of building and scaling Test Engineering function and build a on-call L2 layer for faster customer issue resolution. Hired and onboarded several engineers with engineering presence in both Gurgaon and Bangalore offices. My team worked on both Products (Super Receptionist, Smart IVR and SR android mobile app) and Platform (Knowlus). Managed engineering deliverables and release activities. Setup agile processes for improving efficiency, bringing in review practices and driving quality via defect triage and close looping production issues. Drove engineering excellence across Dev/QE/Devops teams to ensure smooth and predictable release quality
• Apart from Quality Engineering, I was entrusted to build a technical debugging layer between customer facing L1 support and Developers. This layer called as "L2 team" was formed to filter out production issues and resolve majority of the incoming ones while escalating only the real issues to developers with debug information resulting in code change. This team helped developers pinpoint production issues and fix them faster which resulted in shorter turnaround time for issue resolution. I was responsible for building the team from ground up, streamlining ticket escalation process, setting up debugging guidelines and bringing in required attention to burning customer issues.

Worked with several technical experts and engineering teams across India and US and also interacted with VMware team closely for the product release.

• During my 4+ years of tenure in EMC as PE, I worked in Backup and Recover Systems (BRS) business unit on products like Networker and VDP. Lead multiple NetWorker releases (both main and sustenance releases) as individual contributor and lead. Front faced several releases and worked with cross functional teams across geographies in US and Canada. Worked extensively on ordering and procurement of servers, Setting up environments for product testing and Storage device configuration. Also drove usage of virtual machines instead on physical servers and setup processes for tracking and optimally using lab resources. Improved automation coverage and implemented productivity enhancement tools with in the team.
