I am a software engineer with a bachelor's degree in computer engineering from the University of Pune and a master's degree in computer science from the University of Southern California. I am passionate about interacting with hardware from a software perspective. In my most recent role as an associate software engineer at Espressif Systems, I worked on creating C++ wrapper libraries of ESP Rainmaker, ESP Insights, and Tensorflow Lite for Arduino and PlatformIO environments, as well as augmenting ESP Rainmaker’s cloud connectivity features with the industry unifying Matter protocol. I also worked on designing and developing key features like firmware OTA upgrades over MQTT protocol and remote debugging of deployed IoT devices. I have also gained experience in designing and developing microservices-based architectures, machine learning models, and web-based applications using MySQL, RedisDB, Node.js, Backbone.js, and Java Spring Boot in my previous internships at IMATMI and eQ Technologic. I am eager to apply my skills and knowledge to solve real-world problems and create innovative solutions that can benefit society.
