About Me : I am a problem solver who enjoys exploring new domains and understanding their problem space. Thing that intrigue me : I am particularly interested in large scale distributed systems and applied machine learning. What have i built so far : As a part of Google AOSS : Developed industry first Secure Open Source Package through automation and IaC Scanning for Google Cloud. As a part of Amazon Dynamodb, currently contributing to storage engine modernization leading to improve in latency, burst scaling and failover recovery. I have worked in the vendor space with amazon and largely built tech to ensure vendor success. As a part of Amazon, I have designed and developed a chat platform, ground up, that supports workflow, live chat & NLP powered free text support. This platform is a micro service system deployed completely in AWS and has till now served ~7M+ chats across 3 regions and 10+ marketplaces worldwide. I have also worked on building vendor segmentation system that analyses the vendors based on their health across different verticals and classifies them across different buckets to help them grow with amazon.

Led design and development of an IaC Scanning product for GCP
Security, enabling vulnerability scanning, reporting, and
remediation in CI/CD pipelines. Managed a team of 4 engineers,
delivering the product integrated with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and
Google Cloud Build. Onboarded 10+ B2B customers, processing

Led design and launch of the Assured OSS product, providing secure,
automated build of open-source packages across maven & pypi along
with build provenance, VEX, and SBOM. Managing a team of 5

1) Contributed to Storage engine Modernization: Resulting in
significant improvements in latency, burst scaling, and failover
recovery within the DynamoDB storage node infrastructure.
2) TTLv2 support in Dynamo: Designed and implemented OSI
backfill workflow as a part of TTLv2. Current TTL implementation
requires scanning the entire table which leads to considerable resource
consumption, TTL v2 optimizes this and supports TTL with index
based approach.
3)Customer Focused Alarms : Designed and built a system
responsible for monitoring customer tables and alarms if a particular
customer is experiencing high fault rate even though the system as a
whole is within acceptable fault rate. Reported 50+ instances of
degraded customer availability, thus preventing traffic in excess of
50M+ in prod worldwide.

1) Designed HLD and Core LLD Components for chat platform with live chat, workflow and NLP powered free text support. The platform also had capabilities of case management, feedback collection, attachment upload among others. The platform was based on micro service based architecture and had a blend of Java and Nodejs stacks. Owned implementation of multiple components from scratch. Also mentored SDE1 and Interns for implementation of other components of the design. This system was released in production in Dec'21 and has experienced a traffic of ~7M chats across 3 regions and 10+marketplaces.
2) Designed and developed service for powering free text powered by NLP in chat platform service. This was a microservice built over Rasa framework with an in-house BERT based NLP model.
3) Conducted 80+ interviews for SDE2's, SDE1's and SDE Interns and also mentored SDE1's and SDE Interns.
