Sugar is the desktop environment component of a worldwide effort to provide every child with an equal opportunity for quality education. Available in more than twenty-five languages, Sugar Activities are used every school day by children in more than forty countries. My work includes:
1. Work on Port of Sugar and core activities to Python3 as Python 2 is deprecated and no longer in use.
2. Design Multiple Test Cases and generate coverages to fix regressions present in Sugar( Sugar- desktop ), sugar-toolkit-gtk3(Toolkit is used to support different activities), and sugar-datastore to provide a smooth experience to users of Sugar.
3. 250+ of Sugar activities have been developed but needs maintenance with rapidly changing technology, I have provided compatibility to more than 20 sugar-activities with the latest Python version, TelepathyGLib, PyGTK, and GTK3+.
4. Sugar uses it's own Python package named Sugargame which allows Pygame programs to run well and provides functionalities to different activities. I have worked on the port of different activities to the latest Sugargame.
5. Sugar also provides collaborative learning through Sugar Activities, It uses the CollabWrapper package to support and maintain collaboration, I also worked on porting different activities to CollabWrapper.
