Description : It is Online Trading Platform which is used to place financial products over the network with financial intermediary. It involves exchange of products such as Currencies, Securities (which includes Bond, Equity, and Derivatives) with financial intermediary, such as Brokers, Investment bankers, Market Managers. It also has various screens which allow Traders and Market Managers to analyze market, see their own trades, best quote in market. Software currently deals in two markets which are Repo and Seclend.
The main components developed are as follows:
1. The online trade site developed using the Spring and Hibernate.
2. Http request received in JSON format hits the controller layer (Using Spring MVC) results in calling the service layer and in turn interaction with DAO layer to get the persistence details using hibernate.
3. Using the spring modules such as AOP for logging and Spring MVC for navigation from page to the Controller Layer.
Responsibilities :
1. Designed and developed the basic structure of the application to use Spring and Hibernate effectively and efficiently along with Maven to build the project.
2. Designed and developed the module called Pre-Trading, which is a starting point of any trading platform. It involves development of various functionalities which allow Trades to put financial products in market.
