• Co-led the AI Research Agents initiative to accelerate AI research by developing autonomous agents that iteratively propose ideas, implement code, run and analyze experiments, and continually improve through experience. Leading model training, applying supervised fine-tuning and reinforcement learning to improve performance on AI and machine learning tasks.
• Led a team of 8 researchers in training foundation models to develop adaptive neural interfaces. These interfaces aim to replace the standard graphical user interfaces (GUI) in virtual and augmented worlds.
• Primary contributor to 10+ research papers in the areas of representation learning, lifelong learning, reinforcement learning, modular architectures and distributed training, with publications at top-tier machine learning conferences and journals like ICML, ICLR, EMNLP, CVPR, etc.
• Developed and open-sourced machine learning toolkits and libraries. Presented at major conferences including including at PyTorch Ecosystem Day, PyCon US and Open Data Science Conference (ODSC).
