• Member of technical platform team for Access Points, which manages platform services for the reservation and transportation of packages to different types of Amazon Lockers worldwide. We handle updates for ~1.8 million packages daily.
• Following are some if the highlights of my work at Amazon Access Points:
• Optimised Locker Dashboard: Consolidated dashboard monitoring Amazon Lockers metrics worldwide
• (Locker Capacity, Reservations, Expected Orders etc.).Improved overall performance by 99% after
• optimising backend Elastic Search Queries, adding distributed cache and data compression. The load time for the dashboard was down from 3 min to 1 sec.
• Single-handedly designed, developed and deployed the solution for the workflow for sending the locker package updates from platform service to reactor services. This involved migrating existing workflow to native AWS, processing DynamoDB Stream updates using lambda and routing updates to various clients.
• Developed Client Cache Library using Google Guava Cache, used across more than 15 services in Amazon Access Points Org. This helped in reducing unnecessary network calls and reduced load on downstream
• services.
• Designed and developed algorithm for Order Consolidation of Amazon Locker Packages during
• Fulfilment Planning. This helped in better Capacity Planning for Lockers, led to freeing up capacity for
• ~8% Lockers in EU region, resulting in more available lockers and cost savings.
• Created Gold Standard Dashboards for for overall monitoring of different Access Point Services and important metrics for the metrics.
• In order to maintain our services and handle the huge traffic have been performing stress, load testing for different services, so as our services are ready for traffic peaks.
• Contributed towards the end to end development of various features for locker customer experience in the amazon mobile shopping app.

• Working with visual display division of Samsung Research Institute, part of team managing Smart TV Services.
• Member of SHS -CDN (Samsung Hybrid Service and CDN management) team: Service managing storage and distribution of content of Samsung Smart TV services, using different cloud services and different CDN services. Apart from that responsible for Log analysis of the statistics of content delivery provided by different CDN networks.
• Worked on design and development of Microservice Architecture based portal development for automation of transcoding (DRM and Non-DRM) of 4K media content to be displayed on Smart TV. A Distributed System was built using different managed cloud services to enable the automation of media transcoding. JAVA Spring Boot, Python were used for backend development , MySQL based RDS, Angular for front end.
• Worked on designing the architecture of the distributed system and the schema for the database.
• Solely set up the required infra on AWS for different services to be used automation of transcoding.
• Responsible for deployment of different dockerized services on Kubernetes.
• Integrated Google Stackdriver for logs montitoring and tracing.
• Design and development of Microservice Architecture based web portal development for SHS, for providing clients a portal to manage their services. Technology stack used include JAVA SpringBoot, Hybrid Cloud Services(AWS, GCP) and gRPC, protobuf for inter-service communication.
• Solely responsible for complete backend development and DB redesigning.
• Worked on Batch Development in GoLang for calculating and analysing usage of hybrid cloud services by Samsung Smart TV services.
• Web portal Development for Role Management System: management of cloud accounts of different Smart TV Services. For different users providing single login to different cloud accounts.
