Stitch processes over 20,000+ reports daily, providing critical business metrics and enhancing operational efficiency for hubs and darkstores.
• Led a team in the development of a data pipeline for analytics services, leveraging Airflow, pandas, and Apache Spark. This pipeline handles over 3 million order items daily, delivering transformed data to the Analytics team for generating recommendations and aiding customers in basket building.
• One of the core developers of MBQ service, which predicts the number of stock-keeping units (SKUs) required at each warehouse. This service resulted in a 40% reduction in perishable waste, achieving a 95% availability for more than 5,000 SKUs.
• Implemented a token system that allows customers to obtain a token and wait in a queue during Covid-19 lockdowns, rather than constantly checking for availability of slots.
