• The project demands a blend of art and engineering. It calls for use of technology to display the passion and energy in sound. It connects the physics of sound to an artist’s creativity. There are threads running across a frame and based on different pitches of sound, I have used pumps to spread colors through threads in different directions. Use of a microcontroller (namely Arduino uno) to control submersible pumps to push colors across threads. Arduino Uno is used to run different pumps based on pitch as read by the sound sensor. It controls the motor driver modules, which in turn control the pumps. Based on the intensity of the sound, different pumps will be actuated which will result in a different colour flow each time till sound is on.
• I was assigned to do the designing of circuit and functioning of the prototype of the main scale project. The prototyping includes the use of DC motors instead of submersible pumps just to show the moment of the motors as per the frequency and amplitude of sound.
