• Starting my first independently commissioned work on the day of my B.Arch. thesis jury thinking of "whatever comes my way", ultimately developed Independent Practice as testing grounds of my abilities, testing personal design and management ideas without the security of being able to fall back on the structure, wisdom or legacy of any established firm or employer.
• Through eighteen years of inevitable ups and downs, was able to create the ground for founding Apropos Spaces with co-founder Architect / Urban Designer / Graphic Designer Anamika Bagchi.
• Designed and completed several diverse projects including Industrial Buildings, Office Fit-Outs, Interiors, Residential Interiors & Bespoke Furniture, Cafes, Restaurants and Kiosks (including Kitchens, Furniture & Graphics Concept) and furniture / display systems (design, prototyping and manufacture with M/s Brass World, Noida). Besides Design, acted as Consultant & Advisor to Educational Institutions for completed and ongoing addition / remodeling works and also conceived, shot & edited promotional films for small businesses
