• It costs more to provide great education than what tuition can cover. Schools have to fundraise to cover the difference. Almabase empowers schools around the world to grow their alumni donations by improving engagement.
• We bootstrapped it to $M's in ARR, and in the growth phase now after the recent partnership with Blackbaud (Nasdaq: BLKB)

• We built a profitable e-commerce business for customized merchandise. I was leading all aspects of product development.
• Had the opportunity to work closely with Sesh(https://www.linkedin.com/in/srinivasanseshadri/) and learnt a lot by getting to observe him from close quarters. Whatever I am today, he has played a very key role!

• Joined a fantastic non-profit that went on to help tens of thousands of rural micro-entrepreneurs with working capital!
• My key responsibility was to help RangDe leverage technology to the fullest on all aspects - Fundraising, Operations, and Partner Management. In addition to that, I handled strategy and partnerships.
• I spent quality time in remote villages of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Orissa, MP and UP which helped me understand the complexities of poverty and inequality in India!

• Amazing leadership team and culture!
• Didn't contribute much! Just did enough to not get fired 🤣, and left soon after my education loan was fully paid off to join a non-profit 🤣

• Lakshya built an ecosystem of research and entrepreneurship at NIT Warangal (my alma-mater) by bringing together alumni, students, faculty, the institute, and relevant partners!
• We had built a Makerspace used by thousands of students, gave 30+ full scholarships, and had a direct impact on at least five alumni-led startups!
• I co-founded Lakshya in 2008 and was actively involved for the first four years before moving to an advisory role.

Jul 2007 – Apr 2008 · 9 mos · Warangal Area, India

• Given my work as Gen Secretary in my Junior year, got elected unanimously among 4000+ students as the President of the Student Union. The first-ever in my 70-year-old college!
• The most memorable moment of my tenure was getting to host JP garu (LokSatta) for a couple of days who shaped my political ideology and outlook!

Nov 2006 – Apr 2007 · 5 mos · Warangal Area, India

• Till then, I was diligently following the typical lower middle-class playbook: Study well -> Good College -> Good Job -> Get married.... :)
• This was the first time I realized the joy in working for the greater good, beyond self! Getting into Student politics was the biggest turning point in my life!
