One stream of work involves building a lightweight, edge-optimized VLM + RAG pipeline integrated into a mobile application, enabling visual understanding and contextual reasoning directly on resource-constrained devices. This includes working with sub-3B parameter VLMs and LLMs,applying quantization and inference optimizations, fine-tuning compact models, and developing application-specific intelligence layers for low-latency edge deployment.
In parallel, I’m developing real-time computer vision systems based on yolo for safety and operational monitoring across construction environments. This work focuses on detection, tracking, and rule-based analytics, with strong emphasis on accuracy, latency, and scalability in production-grade deployments.
