I am the Cabinet Minister for Information Technology, Electronics, Communications, Industries, Commerce and Legislative Affailrs for the state of Telangana,India. As an Indian politician and lawyer, serving my fifth term as a Member of Legislative Assembly from Indian National Congress, representing Manthani, I have also served as the Cabinet Minister for differnt portfolios, in the United Government of Andhra Pradesh. I was previously the government Whip in my second term. I focus on realizing the vision of “Digital Telangana” by leveraging Technology for effective and efficient governance, sustainable economic development and inclusive social development. I continue to focus on the overall development of all strata of people and work tirelessly for their welfare. I have devised and implemented various schemes of the government as a MLA and as a Minister in the state cabinet across basic amenities like housing schemes, essential commodities, cooking gas, electricity, water and drainage systems among others, to the entire Manthani region, with keen interest in youth and women empowerment. I was instrumental in setting up of the JNTU in Manthani and a degree college as well, which led to job creation and easy access to quality higher education to the people of erstwhile Karimnagar district and neighboring areas as well. A keen cricketer as a student — I represented Nizam College and the University of Hyderabad.
