• Part of the founding team at the Shiv Nadar School of Law, and assisting faculty with teaching, pedagogy and curriculum development across humanities and law courses. I work as a Teaching Assistant to multiple faculty members across a variety of legal subjects, and coordinate various flagship initiatives of the Law School such as the annual Practitioner Semester. Over the course of the Fellowship, I have been completing my LLM from the University of Edinburgh, and conducting my own research into AI regulation and data protection law.

• I am teaching a 4 week certification course on Indian data protection and privacy law, focusing on the theoretical foundations of data protection as a legal and economic concept, a deep dive into the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, international comparisons and intersection with sectoral data protection frameworks. I'm working to balance the course with both theory and practical concepts, providing a jurisprudential background and educating my students on practical compliance impact for organisations along with the grey areas in the law.

• I work with Sahamati to assist with legal queries about all things Account Aggregator. Sahamati is a member driven industry alliance formed to strengthen the AA ecosystem in India through certification and guidelines for all ecosystem participants.

• Handled the legal operations, contracts and regulatory compliances for a company providing embedded finance solutions and API infrastructure to enable businesses to offer financial services. My role involved interpretating the regulatory framework of the Reserve Bank of India and other financial regulators and acting as product counsel for
• new initiatives of the company and advising on the integration of AI within products. Worked on the development of India’s Data Empowerment Architecture (DEPA) and Digital Public Infrastructure, by being involved with industry bodies working on the Account Aggregator framework, UPI, Aadhaar and Data Protection Act.

• The institute for internet and the just society in Berlin works with volunteers on a pro bono basis to engage in advocacy relating to fair artificial intelligence, law and technology, and inclusive digital governance. I am a researcher with the Institute within the research cycle on algorithmic decision making (a subset of research on AI and Fairness), contributing to research articles, policy publications, and blog posts.
