About

Machine Learning isn't terribly exciting. Some of the algorithms are elegant but far from the coolest algorithms I know. And you have to be mathematically inclined to appreciate algorithms in the first place. But the things you can do with machine learning are endless. When people ask me what I do? I normally answer I predict the future. Which is entirely correct. I make concrete verifiable predictions about the future and measure myself, I usually fair pretty well. My innate interest in Artificial Intelligence began when I found myself fascinated by the projects done by seniors in one of the hackathons I attended. Curiosity is the first and the foremost quality which drives a person towards learning new things. My interest, passion, dedication in learning AI, enabled me to acquire significant knowledge on Python and mathematics behind every ML algorithm. I substantiated my knowledge by opening an Instagram page and a website “graspcoding.com” based on AI. My prodigious appetite for guiding others started from the moment I published my first python ebook on Amazon Kindle. In the meantime, I created tutorials on various projects and shared them on the Website as well as Instagram.

  • ● Led end-to-end development of a high-accuracy Text-to-SQL system, achieving 92% intent classification accuracy and 89% table selection accuracy using Milvus vectorDB. Engineered the full SQL generation pipeline including: dynamic schema adaptation, LLM-powered noun extraction, BM25-based noun replacement (90% accuracy) for error correction, SQL query generation with 82% correctness validation, and execution via dedicated SQL executor. Delivered user-friendly outputs through concise natural language generation and implemented context-aware error recovery with follow-up question generation for incorrect intents (72% noun-error resolution), table mismatches, or SQL failures. Designed scalable Kubernetes deployment via Helm Charts and leveraged MongoDB for conversational state management, ensuring reliable end-to-end performance.
  • ● Designed and implemented an advanced ETL pipeline for Client controllers, seamlessly integrating asynchronous programming for efficiency and optimizing MongoDB pipelines. Achieved an exceptional 5-6 minute workflow, surpassing the 30-minute target, emphasizing our commitment to project responsibility and performance optimization.
  • ● Faced with the challenge of retrieving data from 1M records, each requiring a 1-second API call, and an additional challenge of hourly token updates. A data engineering pipeline was designed, boosting efficiency by 15 times and reducing the retrieval time for 1 million records from 11-12 days to just 16 hours. The utilization of parallel processing played a key role, showcasing expertise in overcoming complex data retrieval challenges.

  • Train Machine Learning models for Humans
  • ● Led the ML team and developed domain-specific search-ranking systems using algorithms implemented from scratch, including BM25 and Word Mover’s Distance (WMD). Built a unified ranking pipeline with rare-token matching, custom WMD, and hybrid custom BM25 + SBERT for general search; genre-based relevance using custom WMD and hybrid custom BM25 + SBERT for movie search; cuisine-based relevance using custom WMD and hybrid custom BM25 + SBERT for restaurant search; and custom WMD with hybrid custom BM25 + SBERT for product search, achieving ~87% overall ranking accuracy. Optimized the swipe-based personalization workflow, reducing 8-swipe latency from 8–10 seconds to 4 seconds, and contributed to deploying the entire solution on AWS EKS for scalable production use.
  • ● Developed and fine-tuned a conversational generative AI model using LlaMa, GPT-J, and GPT-Neo with the Hugging Face trainer API, leveraging medical domain knowledge to simulate a realistic doctor-patient interaction. Through comparative analysis, LlaMa emerged as the superior performer in this context.

  • Description: The system automatically classifies the incoming tickets into one of the groups present in Zendesk based on the subject and subject of the inquiry(email/API/web). And the system suggests multiple macros based on their probability which are further classified into auto-suggestion(inquiries that will require manual intervention) and auto-response(inquiries that can be sent without manual intervention). The system also suggests multiple Frequently Asked Questions(FAQs) which are more similar to the inquiries. And the system also suggests a link to previous tickets where a similar inquiry was handled in case previous approaches don’t seem good.
  • ● Worked on Email Automation system where for email classification SVM and Xgboost model were implemented and RTE models were implemented for macros suggestion.
