Served as a primary junior developer on multiple client deliverables one of which is a leading pharmaceutical company, utilizing Java Backend technology and the Spring Boot framework.
Developed a monolithic application using REST APIs within the Spring Boot framework to seamlessly integrate an on-premise Oracle SQL database with a cloud-based application hosted on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) via a cloud connector enabling the provision of a comprehensive dashboard for clients to efficiently monitor and manage Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes.
Implemented timely execution of stored procedures, which involved retrieving large volumes of data entries from multiple staging tables, using schedulers to fetch live data and ensure the dashboard remained up to date.
Designed a secured, role-based application by enabling XSUAA authentication by integration of Java REST APIs with on-premise OData APIs, utilizing connectivity and destination services of SAP BTP. Basic Authentication and Principle Propagation authentication techniques were employed.
Implemented Document Management System (DMS) functionalities to facilitate file storage and invoked the Business Process Automation (BPA) workflow APIs to trigger workflows.
Dynamically fetched necessary credentials through VCAP_SERVICES services to ensure security and prevent potential credential leakage.
