• During my tenure at Agoda, I collaborated closely with the Flights Conversion team to reimagine the flights booking platform. The challenge was significant, as flights often pose the toughest hurdle for profitability within a Travel OTT organization. Traditionally viewed as an introductory service to encourage subsequent Hotel and Activity bookings, flights demanded a fresh approach.
• Through dedication and innovation, we achieved remarkable results. Our efforts led to a substantial improvement, transforming the flights conversion rate from a daunting -16% to a much more manageable -3.7%. Moreover, we saw a commendable uptick of +12% in user engagement, thanks to the introduction of a new and enhanced experience.
• This success signifies more than just improved metrics; it represents a significant stride toward Agoda's vision of delivering an unparalleled unified Travel platform experience. It's a testament to the power of collaboration, innovation, and a relentless commitment to enhancing user satisfaction.
