1. Worked on designing (HLD/LLD) and coding a bunch of Microservices in Java from scratch, that enable a Bank (Customer of Zeta) to subscribe to a SaaS Product Offering of Zeta (Eg: Credit card offering). This SaaS Product can be subscribed in a self serve manner via a UX. I did the initial high level & low level design for multiple backend orchestration microservices, coded those microservices from scratch, wrote integration tests, and integrated our services with other clusters/microservices of Zeta. Used Java/Springboot for development, Redis for caching, Postgres for database and Kafka for async communications in between the services, AWS and Kubernetes for deployments.
2. Designed and coded a bunch of Kubernetes custom resource operators (As Java Springboot applications) from scratch using Java Operator SDK, to automate tenant resource creation/updation via a Custom Resource that gets applied to these Java Operators. Also added support of mutating/validating admission webhooks to support doing customizations and validations on these applied custom resources.
3. Designed and coded a custom authorization framework for the above microservices built, which was based on RBAC + HMAC authorization.
