• As a Software Development Manager, I was responsible for a team of 32 (engineers and managers), building several high visibility technical solutions to support Amazon's consumer electronics business.

• This was a multi-faceted role where I helped launch several key initiatives for Amazon. One notable project I drove was launch two brand new $100M businesses for Amazon, one each in UK and Germany in 2014, and then further expansion of these businesses in 2015. In this role I owned the technical solution from inception to delivery and was deeply involved in every aspect of the development process for both Amazon and it's partners. The most significant and rewarding part of the this project was technical deep dive into partner systems to identify the gaps build solutions to bridge them. I also spent significant amount of time co-ordination and stakeholder management.

• My responsibilities grew to a team leader. I worked with my direct team of 8 SDEs to deliver a number of warehouse optimization products, the most significant being work-execution framework (MTF). This framework enabled developers to build workflows used by the on the ground team inside the a warehouse / fulfillment centers.

• I worked on building Warehouse Management Software (WMS), and delivered a number of features to our customers. I was part of the team that owned not only the base product (prior to configuration for customers), but also delivery mechanism and running production services. This was my first role that exposed me to both Software development and operating the software to enable customers in field.
