• Migrated mainframe application to distributed cloud native microservices using Java and Springboot APIs to provide realtime processing abilities alongside integration with Apache Kafka and Apache Spark Streaming. This reduces the 24-hour gap of nightly batch processing of user transactions and provide them ability to get realtime data.
• Led the micro-frontend implementation to expose tightly coupled Angular screens as independent MFEs for integration into another platform. Also managed Angular and Node.js upgrades to ensure compatibility and performance improvements.
• Created a dedicated microservice for handling the securities transfer logic in case of demise of a shareholder for business users to handle such requests and reconciliation issues, leading to an overall reduction of 25% in the number of service centre requests received.
