• The Cognitive Algorithmic Trading (CAT) platform is a fundamental building block for achieving digitalisation in global credit trading. It consolidates key front-office data-driven functions into a single command center, enabling more efficient collaboration between trading and sales teams. The platform is highly adaptable and built around the concept of micro-applications, which can be combined to create a custom user experience or add new functionality.
• In my role on this greenfield project, I constructed and designed the UI framework to establish a set of rules for integrating a library of granular components that can be combined to create complex custom layouts. The application is a desktop-based, built using React and Openfin framework and is supported by a high-performance Solace messaging bus for communication with multiple financial market systems. The application is based on the Server-Driven UI (SDUI) concept, where the layout and data of micro-applications are controlled by the server, making it simple to add new micro-applications to the suite, thus reducing turnaround time.
• One of the key features of this application is the ability for users to create a multi-desktop workspace, which can be saved, restored or shared with peers.
• Key technologies used in the development of this platform include HTML5, ReactJS, Typescript, Material-UI, Openfin, Event-Driven Architecture using Solace Messaging Bus, Highcharts, Ag-Grid, and Java.

• I was involved in development of web based suite of banking products at Sungard (now known as FIS) transforming the legacy codebase with modern web technologies (HTML5, AngularJs). During my tenure, I also build and delivered an offline first approach web application capable of collecting data from oil and gas plants and storing this information on device. The application runs fully in an offline mode and stores data locally which later synchronises when network connectivity is detected.

With Hy5 Canvas suite you are free from OS design constraints as the generated applications are OS-agnostic and can be deployed over various platforms like Android, iOS etc. thus preventing developer to maintain different sets of code for each platform.
