About

As a Software Engineer, I have a diverse background spanning the retail, cybersecurity, and cloud computing domains. My recent experience as an SDE 2 at Amazon Web Services (AWS) at Seattle, USA exposed me to the challenges of building scalable and highly available cloud services. At AWS in Seattle, USA, I worked on the CloudWatch service, which processes millions of transactions per second. My primary focus was on implementing usage metrics for the public CloudWatch Logs APIs, leveraging CloudWatch Insights and Metrics to provide customers with insightful data. This project required a deep understanding of distributed systems and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally. Prior to AWS, I worked at Oracle India and Dell EMC, which taught me the versatility of software engineering and the ability to adapt to different industry requirements. I have a knack for innovation, as evidenced by my awards in the RSA Red Challenge and RSA Innovation Timeout competition. I have pursued my Master's degree at Stony Brook University, where I delved deeper into system design and data science, developing a strong foundation in computer science concepts. Some key projects I've worked on include: Enhanced Sampler in LiveTail: Designed a stratified sampling strategy to ensure valuable logs for troubleshooting. Integrated machine learning components and ensured solution robustness. Live Tail Metering: Designed a metering solution to accurately bill customers for Live Tail usage. Ensured scalability and extensibility to handle future growth. Live Tail Control Plane APIs: Designed and implemented APIs to start and stop live tail sessions. Ensured security, reliability, and scalability of the APIs. Throughout my career, I have demonstrated a passion for building scalable and reliable systems. I am always seeking new challenges to expand my knowledge and contribute to the success of my team. Feel free to reach out to discuss engineering roles or my experience.
