Vijayakumar Pitta — Founder
Most GCC performance issues are not capability gaps. They are design failures. I’ve worked in both GCC and Non-GCC environments. The difference is structural. I’ve led large teams and complex enterprise IT operations, and spent years inside Global Capability Centers scaling mission-critical delivery across global markets. That dual experience made one thing clear: GCCs operate under behavioural pressures that traditional environments simply do not face — global stakeholder expectations, rapid scale, distributed authority, and hybrid decision-making. My perspective sits at the intersection of program management discipline, leadership accountability, technology-enabled scale, and organizational psychology. I don’t view at GCC performance as a people issue, a process issue, or a systems issue in isolation — but as an operating model challenge shaped by behaviour. In non-GCC settings, authority and accountability are typically aligned. Context is shared. Decision cycles are tighter. In GCC ecosystems, responsibility often exceeds authority. Context is distributed. Stakeholders span geographies. Ambiguity is constant. Most execution challenges in GCCs are not effort problems. They are behavioural design gaps. Decision rights remain unclear. Ownership is implied rather than engineered. Hiring models assess generic competencies instead of behaviours required for ambiguity, distributed accountability, and execution across distance I help GCC leaders intentionally shape the behavioural operating layer of their organizations — aligning hiring, ownership clarity, decision norms, and execution structures so performance becomes structurally reliable at scale. Alongside my GCC-focused work, I also partner with corporates on leadership capability, employee engagement, employee wellbeing, and AI adoption for non-technical professionals — always through a behavioural systems lens. If you are scaling a GCC and noticing behavioural friction — ownership gaps, decision delays, early exits, or manager overwhelm — I’m open to thoughtful conversations on designing the behavioural operating system that makes performance consistent. Performance does not improve by intention. It improves by design.
