I am a MEAN & MERN Stack developer with almost half a decade of experience, specializing in Javascript based Backend and Frontend technologies. I have extensive experience in developing web services or APIs using various open source packages or frameworks. In addition, I have worked on industry-level web projects for some of the startup companies, using various technologies such as Node.js, MongoDB, Amazon Web Services(AWS). I’ve always been a great problem solver, an independent introvert, and a technophile obsessed with the latest devices. Today, I’m working from home as an Associate Technical Lead for Emids(erstwhile Quovantis Technologies), and I get to show off all these elements of who I am. I started learning to code when I was doing my bachelors from Lucknow Christian Degree College, Lucknow. During my graduation, I realized software engineering was the right field for me because I enjoyed writing the code and it always amazes me, the way things work. After my graduation, I started pursuing Master of Computer Applications(MCA) from Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology, Sultanpur. I have extensive experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, and various open-source frameworks such as NodeJS, ExpressJS, Angular, NestJS, React, Next.js and Jest. I am skilled in the use of these frameworks to develop web applications. I also possess skills in writing complex NoSQL & SQL queries using popular database servers such as MongoDB & MySQL. In addition to my development work, I am skilled in troubleshooting problems and resolving bugs within an existing system. I always look forward to add new skills to my repertoire. I’m also eager to meet other software engineers in the area, so feel free to connect. When I am not working on the requirements or learning anything new, I like to listen to music, watch my favourite movie or web series, play computer games or read a book. I continued working on Pareo as Senior Software Engineer. Along with the responsibilities that were assigned to me, I started working with AWS services along with writing the unit test cases using Jest and improving the code coverage.
On AWS side, I have worked on deployment of Lambdas for stand-alone services using Bitbucket Pipelines. Apart AWS Lambda, I have used AWS Batch and AWS Step Function for processing, Amazon SQS for Queue Processing, Amazon CloudWatch for monitoring and debugging errors occurred while processing requests.
On database side, My responsibilities were analyzing and designing data models and preparing mongoose models to save data into MongoDB using APIs. Apart from these, I have also written complex Mongo queries to generate table or report data in many modules of the application. Optimizing old Mongo queries for better performance was also a kind of work that I have always enjoyed.
I have also collaborated with on-shore team for any blockers in the development and collected requirements for the stories sometimes.
