About

I grew up in Hajipur, Bihar, moved to Hyderabad for my 12th, and eventually ended up pursuing a computer science engineering degree I never truly wanted. It was the “safe” option my family understood, but somewhere between coding labs and backlog fears, I realised I wasn’t meant to be a software developer. So I worked for two years in a non-tech role, trying to figure out what I actually wanted. One morning during a 6 AM shift, the answer became painfully clear and I walked out of that job. I took a gap year, rebuilt my aptitude from scratch, and earned a PGDM in Banking & Finance. Those two years changed how I saw my goals. I wasn’t the class topper, but I fell in love with capital markets, surrounded myself with people who pushed me, and learned how to think.I was the last person in my class to be placed after 17 rejections, just when Plan B was kicking in, Kotak happened. I was handed a Product role I knew nothing about. I learned the hard way, often felt unheard in meetings, but somewhere in that chaos, I realised what I wanted next: real tech, real products, real users.A random afternoon on LinkedIn led me to GrowthX. I joined the cohort, and everything finally clicked. I quit my Kotak job without another offer, moved back to Bengaluru, and spent two intense months upskilling. Today, I’m a fintech PM solving real user problems, mostly with chai, curiosity, and the confidence that I can learn my way out of anything.Outside work, I obsess over fitness, love meeting people and hearing what they’re building, and occasionally rant about capital markets. I don’t know exactly where I’ll be in five years, but I know I’ll be doing something I love, learning something new, and documenting the journey along the way.
