As an Offensive Cybersecurity Intern at InLighnX Global Pvt. Ltd., I worked on developing real-world security tools and gaining hands-on experience in offensive security techniques.
I designed and built a high-performance password recovery & strength-analysis tool in Python, supporting Wordlist and Brute-Force modes with hash algorithms like MD5, SHA1, and SHA256. I optimized performance using multithreading (ThreadPoolExecutor) to enable concurrent hash testing across multiple CPU cores.
I also developed a professional command-line interface (argparse) with flexible user parameters and implemented real-time progress tracking (tqdm) to enhance usability and workflow efficiency.
This internship strengthened my foundations in cybersecurity tooling, Python automation, hashing algorithms, concurrency, OSINT, and ethical security assessment while improving my technical reporting and problem-solving abilities.
