LEDsafari is a social EdTech startup that aims to teach solar technology in schools by integrating innovative pedagogy and hands-on practical training through creating a solar LED lamp. Through our training, secondary students actively learn and apply electricity and energy principles of the science curriculum by assembling the solar electrical circuit. The process also allows students to let their imagination and creativity run free by designing a personalised lamp body from recycled materials, each building a clean energy solution that is completely unique. Our student-driven approach blends science, engineering, environmental technology and design learning in an interdisciplinary and modern pedagogy.
