Amanda is a Director and Co-Founder of Planet A, a movement set up to tackle the climate emergency using engineering and architectural solutions. Planet A Solutions CIC is a registered Social Enterprise, having successfully operating as a consultancy since 2019, Planet A Solutions is now focusing on skills, education and training in the field of decarbonisation and net zero. Planet A Ltd, which launched in 2025, is the R&D arm of the company set up to develop solutions for decarbonisation action in the built environment. Amanda is driven by her scientific and entrepreneurial spirit to further the development towards a future that isn’t dependent on fossil fuels, alleviating the impact of climate change. She has over 15 years of experience in the renewable energy and low carbon sector, developing projects and developing solutions. She is a qualified Passivhaus Designer.
